Today's Favorite Verse: Revelation 6:17
"For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"
As I'm reading the book of Revelations I'm trying to find where I will be, if I remain righteous. I could picture "who shall be able to stand?" I know the wicked won't be able to stand and they would wish the mountains and rocks to fall on them. I thought of others who won't be standing either, but instead they will be kneeling. I thought of that picture where every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is the Christ.
"And the saints rejoiced in their redemption, and bowed the knee and acknowledged the Son of God as their Redeemer and Deliverer from death and the chains of hell."
(Doctrine and Covenants 138:23)
"And this shall be the sound of his trump, saying to all people, both in heaven and in earth, and that are under the earth—for every ear shall hear it, and every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess, while they hear the sound of the trump, saying: Fear God, and give glory to him who sitteth upon the throne, forever and ever; for the hour of his judgment is come."
