Today's Favorite Verse: Revelation 20:6-8
"Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea."
When I was reading this the part about a thousand years stuck out to me. It said those part of the first resurrection would reign with Christ only a thousand years? Then Satan would be loosed to deceive the nations. I thought "What? I thought I was done being tempted." Then I read it over and over and realized it wasn't those that had died and were resurrected that are being tempted. As a resurrection being you are beyond temptation. Who is being tempted? All those that are still mortal, that were born during the thousand years of the millennium. They are as numerous as the sand of the sea. They are who need to experience the temptation we have gone through in our mortal lives.
