Today's Favorite Verse: Ezekiel 27:25
"The ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas."
Ezekiel is lamenting the fall of Tyre, the loss of her riches and commerce. As I read this long list of what was traded and came to her I thought of being in the world, not of the world. It seems Tyre embraced to much of the world.
"If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."
(John 15:19)
