Today's Favorite Verse: 1 Samuel 11:5-6
"And, behold, Saul came after the herd out of the field; and Saul said, What aileth the people that they weep? And they told him the tidings of the men of Jabesh.
And the Spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard those tidings, and his anger was kindled greatly."
Even though Saul anointed king by Samuel, he appears to have gone about life as usual. It was upon hearing the people weep and and the threat made upon the men of Jabesh-Gilead that he steps up and takes charge. He was led by the spirit in defending Israel. He becomes what he was ordained to be. What this made me ponder on was inspiration, and how often it comes while we are about our every day labors.
