"And thus we see that the Lord did visit them in the fulness of his wrath, and their wickedness and abominations had prepared a way for their everlasting destruction."
The way the Lord prepared for the wicked to be destroyed is by their own hands. They do it to themselves. I guess I could say it was prepared by giving man their own free agency. That is one thing the Lord will not interfere with. When you abuse it and no longer worship Him then you begin to destroy yourself. What is worse than a physical destruction is a spiritual one, which is everlasting. The fulness of God's wrath is to leave you to yourself. There is no arm of protection over you. The Jaredites at the end of their civilization must have had a never ending fear and terror around them. I would not want to be left like that.
