"But it came to pass that I prayed unto the Lord, saying: O Lord, according to my faith which is in thee, wilt thou deliver me from the hands of my brethren; yea, even give me strength that I my burst these bands with which I am bound."
I love this example of Nephi. He doesn't ask the Lord to remove his bands. He asks for the strength to be given him so he can burst them. He is willing to do his part through the strength of the Lord. I try to remember his example when I need to do hard things. Praying that I am made strong enough to endure or over come the challenge. The credit is the Lord's.
