Today's Favorite Verse: Alma 4:20
"And thus in the commencement of the ninth year of the reign of the judges over the people of Nephi, Alma delivered up the judgment-seat to Nephihah, and confined himself wholly to the high priesthood of the holy order of God, to the testimony of the word, according to the spirit of revelation and prophecy."
This made me think of the prophet and apostles and how they have given up successful careers when their calls came to serve as apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ. I thought about President Dallin H. Oaks and how he was a justice of the Utah Supreme Court when his call came. They leave their careers and come, follow Him.
