Today's Favorite Verse: 1 Nephi 14:7
"For the time cometh, saith the Lamb of God, that I will work a great and a marvelous work among the children of men; a work which shall be everlasting, either on the one hand or on the other—either to the convincing of them unto peace and life eternal, or unto the deliverance of them to the hardness of their hearts and the blindness of their minds unto their being brought down into captivity, and also into destruction, both temporally and spiritually, according to the captivity of the devil, of which I have spoken."
That time is now. I guess the question is do you feel peace or bondage? Is the focus on worldly or eternal things? I am reminded of a thought I had during the Oct 2023 General Conference. There were quite a few talks on the need for more missionaries. The thought I had is if instead they said "We need 144,000 to preach the gospel for the last time to the world!", that many would jump at the chance to fulfill the need. They would want to be part of something big. Yet, little did they know that something great and marvelous was happening right then.
