Today's Favorite Verse: Isaiah 3:9
"And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable."
Saw this verse in a different light this time. What stood out to me was the oppression wasn't from the government or those in power or authority, which I would think the honourable are. Instead the oppression comes directly from the people. One person against another. People against those trying to retain order and peace. This is a total break down of society, and anarchy. This is where we are.
