Today's Favorite Verse: Ecclesiastes 2:11
"Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun."
I pondered on our mortal probation. All our labors would be for naught if it didn't bring us closer to God. King Solomon was rich beyond measure and had great wisdom. Yet in the end it meant nothing for he turned his back on God. The wealth and power he had on earth were vanity and fleeting. He could have had the riches of eternity.
