Today's Favorite Verse: Psalms 105:1-3
"O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD."
Well this chapter fits with what I spent my day doing, listening to General Conference. So many wonderful talks and hymns. It is a time to rejoice. The remainder of this chapter speaks of the covenants God made with Abraham and His dealings with Israel. It speaks of Moses, the plagues and parting of the Red Sea. I had to smile on that last part because once again in conference we heard talks about our pioneer heritage and them crossing the plains. Exactly what was foretold.
"Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers."
(Jeremiah 16:14-15)
